I'm a 19 year-old GAP student going to Central School of Speech and Drama in October to study Drama Applied Theatre and Education, and I really can not wait! The course combines my love of drama with my ambition to make a real difference to peoples lives - eventually I hope to become a Play and Drama Therapist specialising in the treatment of Children and Adolscents. The profession is a little difficult to explain... but in absolute laymans terms I guess its simply helping people get over problems and traumatic experiences, as well as helping to boost self-esteem and encourage development in people who need it most including victims of crime, disabled persons and those with behavioural problems.

I have two main addictions in life (I tend to become obsessive about almost everything I am interested in) which are the Harry Potter series and caffeine.

I mostly enjoy Rock, Punk, Punk Rock, Ska, Ska Punk and Emo music. However every now and then I become attatched to something completely random like Rat Pack. I constantly complain about my boyfriend Tom's music taste - drum and bass, and yet I am still forced to listen to it in the car, when he plays on his decks and have even been forced to go to Fabric... oh the hell!

At the moment my life is pretty simple. I get up, go to work, come home, get ready, see Tom and go to bed. I do get up to some fun stuff too though, see my journal for photos of hot air ballooning, sky diving and holidays for proof that I'm not isolated from the world!

I have a compulsive obsessive mother, a arrogant stubborn father, an elder sister teetering on the edge of alcoholism *waves to mel_cherry and a younger sister who seems to think that a day when the world can't see her breasts is a day wasted. Other than that - my family are great :) Besides, who wants a normal family? I'm not exactly normal - so they need to be at least slightly insane to put up with the caffeinated potter freak :)
